The SBS 2L model offers a balanced combination of compact design and increased braking power. Compared to the SBS 1L, it is designed for applications with higher torques and is therefore ideal for medium drive power. The modular design allows flexible adaptation to different installation situations.
Typical areas of application include hoists, winding systems and safety-related braking applications in industry. Thanks to the selection of different actuators, the SBS 2L can be customised to the respective application.
The shrink disc is outside the flow of force when the system is in operation. Only very low dynamic loads and no wear occur on the shrink disc. The shrink disc is therefore fatigue-resistant when correctly designed.
