Our Rotorlock is a positive locking system that is used in particular in wind turbines and maritime applications. During servicing, rotor blades, rotor hubs or other rotating components can be positively secured against rotation using locking bolts.
Our development for onshore and offshore wind turbines features high-quality corrosion protection and a wide ambient temperature range (-35°C to +60°C).
Stüwe Rotorlocks are available in mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic versions.
High clamping forces (hydraulic up to 280 kN)
High shear forces up to 4000 kN
Wide ambient temperature range
High-quality sensors for position monitoring
High-quality corrosion protection for all exposed parts
Stroke up to 85mm (others on request)
Customised versions on request
The shrink disc is outside the flow of force when the system is in operation. Only very low dynamic loads and no wear occur on the shrink disc. The shrink disc is therefore fatigue-resistant when correctly designed.
