Every year, thousands of our shrink discs ensure that wind turbines all over the world convert wind into electricity safely and reliably. Our HSD shrink discs connect the rotor shaft to the hollow gearbox shaft in the main drive train. Gearbox flange shafts are attached to the rotor shaft with FKHA flange couplings. On the high-speed side of the gearbox shaft, our type AS clamping sets join the coupling and the brake disc. In direct drives, our IS and AS clamping sets are used between the generator shaft and generator rotor. With STÜWE components, you can rely on safety and reliability in your wind turbines.
